Job Description
Mr. Fang is looking for two full-time native English teachers for each school for a commitment of at least two semesters. The school will provide a salary (approx. 5000 RMB/month), accommodations and meals. This is a great opportunity for the adventurous few who enjoy living off the beaten track, in addition to the opportunity to form a bond with a banker who was instrumental in helping China develop to where it is today. This would not be for the feint of heart – little to no English is likely spoken in both locations.
-Anjiazao Primary School is a state-run rural boarding school under the jurisdiction of Majiazao Town, Yanggao County, Datong City, Shanxi Province. The school was founded in 1980 and rebuilt in 2005. After many years of development, the campus now covers an area of 8800 square meters, with the building area of schoolhouse being 1200 square meters.
-There are currently 7 teaching classes and 205 students, among which 56 are resident students; there are currently 16 teachers, including 8 teachers with a bachelor’s degree and 8 teachers with a college degree. The teacher team consists of 7 full-time Chinese teachers, 3 full-time mathematics teachers, 3 full-time English teachers, 1 full-time music teacher, and 1 full-time art teacher.
