Facilitator – China JUMP! Experiences Programs

Do you have experience in experiential education? Are you passionate about creating life-‐changing learning experiences? Do you have experience living and working in China? Do you believe in the power of experiential learning to develop global citizens?

If you answered “Yes” to the above questions, the JUMP! Foundation is looking for you: passionate and engaging experiential educators to be part of creating innovative learning experiences in China this spring/summer. JUMP! Facilitators are deeply committed agents of change and are recognized asindividuals who bring diverse knowledge, extensive life experience, and unique perspectives to running experiential education programs. Enthusiastic and passionate about leadership and social development, JUMP! Facilitators will support the Program Management team in the design, and coordination of programs that inspire, empower and engage youth to reach their full potential as global citizens.

Duration of Contract: March 1 – June 30th, 2015

Your duties would include:

Program Design & Development:

• Assist in on-going design of J! Experience programs
• Support the site inspection process
• Provide logistical assistance to Program Management team

Program Facilitation:

• Facilitate personal development and team building-‐focused activities that inspire youth to challenge themselves
• Offer continual mentorship to youth and facilitate conflict resolution between students
• Facilitate China-specific cultural activities which engage youth with hands-on experiences
• Follow and maintain JUMP! experiential education best practice and safety management practices

Program Evaluation:

• Assist in carrying out the program evaluation
• Share knowledge of facilitation challenges, best practices, etc.
