Flourish is an enterprise education programme operating in Beijing public schools. Enterprise education, at the very forefront of global education, helps students to communicate confidently, work effectively in small groups, develop ideas positively in the face of unknown challenges, and prepare for success in school, work, and life. This involves techniques and approaches including mindfulness, drama, debate, and presentations. We have delivered our original programme to over 20 public middle and high schools in Beijing.
Overview
Job Description
– Deliver Flourish workshops to group classes of 12-45 students
– Collaborate with our team to develop and adapt programme curricula
– Report on progress through continuous feedback and assessment
– Attend and participate in project meetings, trainings, and events
– Reflect on project needs and suggest innovative approaches to achieve long-term goals
– Be a positive and professional Flourish ambassador
Location: Dongcheng District, Central Beijing
Teaching Hours: 5 – 10 hours weekly
Office Hours: Mon – Fri 9am – 6pm
Contract: 12 months
Salary: 14,000 RMB per month
Official Requirements: Two years post-university work experience; passport from a native-English speaking country (government required)
Preferred: A degree from a top university; an education-related degree; teaching certification; teacher training experience; curriculum design experience
Visa: Work visa (Z-visa) and foreign expert certificate provided
