TSL Education is an enterprise education organisation focused on developing
internationally-competitive Chinese learners who can thrive in any situation. Aside from our
consultancy centre we operate an enterprise education programme in fifteen public schools,
run a literary journal for teenagers and are developing a social enterprise to help students
from disadvantaged backgrounds.

We are looking for a full-time inhouse graphic designer to manage our company’s visual
brand identity and marketing and participate in the development of new ideas within our two
offices in Maquanying and Dongzhimen. The right candidate will need to be willing to work
independently (although another designer will join us in August), be positive working with all
members of the organisation and care about our company’s mission to improve incredible
educational opportunities for every student in China.

Job Details 
• 9:00am-6:00pm, Monday to Friday
• Lunch break 12-1pm
• 12-15,000 RMB / month (depending upon experience)
• 4 weeks annual paid holiday (weekend days included)
• Full medical insurance
• Location: Maquanying
• Z Visa provided (If qualified according to the new policy)

Position Requirements

• Oversee the design of our textbooks to be used in public schools throughout China
• Collaborating with external artists on our new design project
• Produce infographics and illustrations for white papers and research papers
• Manage the aesthetic brand identity and marketing of the organisation.
• Create a cohesive brand identity and produce branded merchandise.
• Design the graphics and layout of some teaching and marketing materials.
• Liaise with TSL staff to format all existing and new documents/resources.
• Help staff and students with any design-related projects.
• Work closely with marketing assistant to develop our website and WeChat interface;
visual aesthetic of new TSL products for parents, students and teachers.

Additional Desirable Qualities 
• Previous work in publishing/designing books
• Experience in international education
• Ability to produce photographs/video
• Interest in education/social enterprise
• Intermediate English abilities
• Experience working in a diverse team
• Willingness to become part of the TSL community
• Experience designing effective websites
