Vacancy for Guest Experience Manager in Beijing

Vacation allowance: Chinese National Holidays + 15 days per year

Reporting to: Operations Manager

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring the satisfactory delivery of Bespoke’s numerous services, including tour guide and driver hire, Signature Experiences, and Trip Customization.
  • Dealing directly and promptly with incoming enquiries from clients and customers via phone and email.
  • Designing imaginative itineraries and liaising with customers to ensure that their trip is customized and meets their requirements.
  • Leading on event coordination and management for small-scale bespoke events and team building days.
  • Liaising directly with Bespoke’s Third Party Suppliers (tours guides, drivers, etc.) and generating accurate booking forms.
  • Regularly monitoring and managing Third Party Suppliers to ensure they are carrying out their responsibilities to the highest possible standard.
  • Contributing ideas to the travel and events teams and the running of the company as a whole.
  • Record keeping and reporting on the relevant KPIs on a regular basis.

Requirements

  • The candidate should have exceptional organizational skills and be extremely detail oriented. 
  • The candidate will preferably have experience in the tourism industry or in a role that involved logistics management. 
  • The candidate will have an exceptional knowledge of the city’s restaurants, bars, shops and major sights, with a clear understanding of the expectations of the modern, high-end traveller. 
  • The candidate will ideally be a native English speaker with a high level of spoken Chinese. 
  • The candidate will have a proven track record of excellent customer service skills. 
  • The candidate will preferably have experience in managing third party suppliers or a small team, and a reputation for excellent people management skills. 
  • The candidate will be comfortable taking on a high level of responsibility for the delivery of quality tour services on behalf of the company. 
  • The candidate will preferably be a sociable ‘people person’ who is passionate about helping others.
