Job Description

Drive the HR implementation of establishing the largest self-managed retail flagship store in Shanghai

Drive the HR project steam of the new store opening, taking full accountability for developing, revising project plans, and executing against the deliverables, including but not limited to:


-MPO recruitment agreement
-Formation of staffing plan taking account of phasing, and covering in partnership with business leads 
-Establishment and Implementation of handbook and operating procedures for retail employees
-Development of compensation and benefits framework for use in LEGO BRAND RETAIL environment
-Development and formation of contracts

Partner with leaders to spar and coach with on current decisions, challenges and opportunities, driving the PC&C content and focus within the organization.
-Drive and facilitate Workforce Planning, change management coaching and ultimate advice to the right headcount and positions for LEGO BRAND RETAIL. This will require close collaboration with LEGO BRAND RETAIL LT.

Partner with the business to provide ER and store recruitment support
-Establish and guide in the formation and reinforcement of ER standards within LEGO BRAND RETAIL.
-Investigate and resolve employee relations issues including performance plan development and monitoring, disciplinary actions and terminations in partnership with Leadership and HR team.
-Establish and partner with business/ partners to ensure a signature recruitment process resulting in high quality hires.
-Participate in key role interview, candidate calibration and selection decisions. 
-Partner with business and reward team to determine appropriate salary offers, revisions, job catalogue alignment and IPE utilization.

Planning and execution of PCC strategy and HR Core processes
-Taking direction and inspiration from the global and regional PCC strategy, to plan and execute local People Culture and Capabilities plans for Brand retail including:
-Lead, develop and implement projects aimed at improving efficiency, and effectiveness of the Brand retail employees. (Focus is following the formation on the new store)
-Planning for the HR Core Processes in LEGO BRAND RETAIL with alignment to global process standards aiming at Generic Professional standard. Simplicity as related to LEGO BRAND RETAIL and the LEGO Group.

Talent Management & Communication
-Develop strategies for store managers to contribute to the future direction and success of LEGO BRAND RETAIL looking at career paths and talent management (Also including recruitment and selection, succession planning, IDPs and training initiatives)
-Identify and utilize available channels for communication and continued development of LEGO BRAND RETAIL employees in partnership with leadership.

What we’re looking for?

Bachelor degree or above from recognized university.
5 years + of Retail HR Business Partnering/Management experience or equitable experience.
Retail experience or working with retail business & Experience in retail talent acquisition and hiring.
Highly structured and analytical with project management skills
Experience persuading groups and enabling change.
Training and/or facilitation to large groups a plus. 
Experience enforcing, interpreting, and improving policy to retail needs. 
Delivery of concise and timely communication to a broad range of individuals. 
Delivery of tough messaging or constructive feedback. 
Reward/Compensation experience a plus.
Strong commercial instinct
Good communicator with ability to be clearly understood by diverse group of stakeholders.
Cross functional and cross cultural interest
Feels good about working in diverse team
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
