The English publishing department of Penguin Random House North Asia is recruiting an intern. You will be responsible for supporting Penguin’s award-winning publishing list in the English language, finding books for us to publish and supporting the editorial process.
Penguin publishes quality non-fiction and fiction on and from China, written in the English language and in translation from Chinese. Successful applicants should have a proven background in copy editing, an eye for a great story well told, and an ability to be an enthusiastic advocate for the books that we sign up. This position will be based in Beijing or Shanghai, and applicants should be native-level English speakers.
