The marketing and communications department at AmCham China is looking for a new intern. The American Chamber of Commerce in China is a non-profit, non-governmental organization whose membership comprises more than 3,300 individuals from 900 companies operating across China. The chamber’s nationwide mission is to help American companies succeed in China through advocacy, information, networking and business support services.

Job Description
- Job Description:
- Pitching and developing articles
- Maintaining summaries of chamber events
- Taking and organizing photos from chamber events
- Support Communications Department staff on projects as needed
- Develop website content
- Assist with AmCham China announcements and events
- Assist with multimedia resources (podcasts, photos, and possible video)
- Proofreading and formatting of site content
- Help to coordinate social networking sites
- Support Business Now content development Q
- Qualifications:
- Native English Speaker
- Minimum 4-year degree from accredited institution in either:
- Marketing
- Communication
- Business Administration
- Political Science
- Public Relations
- International Relations
- Be enrolled in a school program during internship
- If offered the internship position, the intern must obtain a stamped permission letter from the university acknowledging that the student has accepted the internship position
- If a non-PRC citizen
- Candidates must possess a valid X1 or X2 student visa for the duration of the internship, or;
- In certain cases, AmCham China can provide an invitation letter for an F business visa to qualified interns able to work full-time (5 days a week for a maximum of three months)
- Be able to commit to interning for at least three months (12 weeks) and be able to come into the office at least three days a week (days can be split into mornings or afternoons to accommodate class schedules)

- Weekly schedule – which full/half days you are available
