We are seeking a stellar Marketing Manager with a strong history of performance to help drive its marketing and customer acquisition initiatives for customers sending money to China. These include TV, online, social, radio, print, mail, events, grassroots and in-country marketing. The candidate will be responsible for developing forecasts, delivering new users on budget, envisioning new growth trajectories and executing initiatives flawlessly and on-time. Familiarity with the 1st generation Chinese market is a key requirement.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Define and manage XOOM’s overall new customer acquisition strategy in-country
Development and execution of the recipient account marketing plan
Drive consumer research in-country
Ensure that the business is delivering best-of-breed solutions that exceed customer expectations
Know prospects – who they are, how they remit, who are their recipients and how to reach them
Understand our offerings – strengths, weaknesses, differences, targets
Awareness of competitors – strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats
Develop promotional offers – appeal, competitiveness, operational impact
Leverage channels – web, direct marketing, events and PR
Able to back up recommendations using data

Required Skills:
Minimum eight years of relevant marketing experience in online consumer service, financial services and/or packaged goods
Mandarin fluency required
Strong quantitative, analytical and problem solving skills. Highly proficient with Excel and Powerpoint
Market research experience
Strong communication skills (verbal, written and interpersonal)
Very strong results orientation
Team player
Familiarity with the 1st generation Chinese market required
Strong history of sending money abroad a plus
Marketing experience in-country a plus

Education:
Bachelor’s degree required with MBA preferred
