Membership Assistant Intern for a Chamber of Commerce
Under the supervision of the Membership Manager at the Shanghai Office, the intern will assist the Membership Relations Manager to close Membership deals with existing and potential members. He/she will answer queries about the Membership and will be in charge of the administration of membership applications. A notable portion of this job is also involved with managing the membership database.

Responsibilities:
• Renewal campaign, ensuring timely renew of the members
• Participation in events to promote the Chamber
• Assisting with the registration of events organized by the Foreign Chamber of Commerce
• Updating of the current database
• Member relationship building
• Creation of monthly statistics on membership growth
• Creation of sales tools, and presentations
• Conducting market research
• Conducting other administrative tasks
Required Skills:
• Research experience
• Strong organizational, communication, social and presentation skills
• Capable of working in a fast-paced, high-pressured environment
• Computer literacy, including Outlook, Word, Excel
• Self-initiative and willing to learn
• Working carefully. Attention to details is imperative
• Cheerful and open, team player
• Flexible and proactive attitude
• Knowledge of the issues faced by Western Business in China is an asset but not required
Languages:
• Fluency in English required.
• Knowledge of other Languages is an asset
