Founded in 2008, Bonbon Bins originated in Beijing as the first ever boutique candy company. Bonbon Bins then entered the hospitality industry, filling a niche market supplying candy, mints, and nuts to nearly 30 5-Star hotels. Bonbon Bins has been recognized in the hospitality industry for high quality and dependable service and is looking to expand into retail channels to provide candy in gift, pick-n-mix, and pre-packaged form. 

JOB POSITION 

We are looking for a high-performing Operations Assistant to help us build in the thriving confectionery industry. You will be responsible for performing administrative duties, facilitating communication with suppliers and third party vendors, managing records and coordinating delivery logistics. We are looking for a candidate that will be motivated and eager to join and contribute to our small, yet passionate team. Ideal candidate is a quick learner, charismatic and energetic with a background in operations, retail, and/or sourcing logistics. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 

1. Managing and compiling operations policies and procedures

2. Performing administrative tasks and duties

3. Assisting the Operations Manager with daily responsibilities

4. Sourcing qualified suppliers and new items to rich the products category according to the request of sales

5. Preparing and placing orders to suppliers and following up the orders fulfillment – Monitoring and restocking inventory

6. Coordinating daily deliveries and preparing related documents 

7. Communicating with customers to resolve operations concerns

Position Requirements
1 Fluent in Chinese and English

2 Preferred 2+ years working experience in retail and/or operations

3 Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree or college equivalent

4 Currently residing or willing to relocate to Beijing 

5 Strong communication skills and a quick learner

6 A motivated individual willing to fill in wherever he/she is needed

7 Dependable in high pressure situations
