Job Description
As Executive Personal and Marketing Assistant, you will serve the President and CEO of the company in all administrative and operational functions. On the Marketing side, you will be responsible for business general marketing and producing material to support our sales team.
Your tasks will include but not be limited to:
- Coordinating and organizing global executive meetings
- Maintaining and updating the schedule and calendar
- Making bookings for travel, client visits, and related activities
- Interfacing with company departments, employees, and clients
- Creating business reports, letters, and marketing materials
- Coordinating and organizing company-wide events, tradeshows and related sales and marketing materials
- Content writing, editing and proofreading, specifically blog posts, data sheets, press releases, white papers and related corporate marketing materials
- Supporting the company’s web marketing including website, email, and social media campaigns
- Contributing content such as articles and advertisement text to the company magazine, two issues of which we print annually.
Desired Skills:
- Exceptional problem-solving ability. Irrespective of your degree or experience, you should excel at solving problems that require logical reasoning, creative thinking, comfort with numbers, and the ability to untangle complex issues
- Demonstrated leadership. You should be someone who frequently takes initiative and is eager to break new ground, create opportunities for others, and take personal risks—as seen through leadership roles—in work environment or in extracurricular activities
- Command of written English. You should be able to draft and deliver reports, letters, emails, and/or marketing materials as needed.
- Other intrinsic skills, such as knowledge of business and market trends in Greater China, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and an eagerness to travel and experience different cultures.
- Friendly and an excellent communicator
Background/Training:
• Bachelor’s Degree or above (marketing, writing related preferred)
• Experience abroad or in another culture is a plus
• Master of office tools and use of technology is a must
• Native fluency in English, both oral and written; proficiency in Mandarin recommended
