Job Description
Research and Strategic Consulting Intern
Responsibilities:
– Research and analyze important industry, capital market and regulatory trends
– Conduct quantitative and qualitative research initiatives to support internal or external deliverables
– Work creatively and independently to produce high-quality output, under the general guidance of senior staff members
– Conduct prospecting and cold calls to global financial institutions
– Contribute to corporate due diligence process
– Create company and key investment personnel dossiers
– Develop marketing material (in both Chinese and English)
– General Excel, PowerPoint, and Word tasks
– General translation work (Chinese – English)
– Coordination of high-level meetings between Z-Ben staff and external clients
Requirements:
– Minimum BA/BS with strong academic credentials
– Professional business fluency in both Mandarin and English strong preferred
– Background or interest in investment management, finance, or economics
– Strong writing and communication skills
– Physical availability to work in Shanghai, full time
– MS Office skills
Program duration and deadlines:
Internships are typically 3-month long. Our Summer Internship program runs from June to September. The application deadline for summer internship is May 1. For the rest of the year, the application process is on a rolling basis.
