Job Description:

We are seeking a highly reliable, organized, and independent Sales & Marketing Intern to join our Business Development (BD) Team. The fundamental responsibilities of this role are: update and maintain all leads, clients and prospects based on business activity; complete various research and analysis projects on potential clients and relevant events and conferences; and fulfill other administrative tasks to support the BD Team that will arise during the business cycle.

This individual must be a clear thinker who is capable of producing results in a position of high autonomy with little supervision. The Sales & Marketing Intern will work under the direct supervision of the Business Development and Marketing Teams. The ideal candidate will go through a short-term trial and internship, and successful candidates will be asked to enter our organization, will receive a basic stipend, and entrusted with greater responsibilities. Stipend will be offered to competitive candidates whom we see to be a good fit. Successful completion of this program would lead to full time employment with the SAA team.

 

 

Qualifications:

·          Current undergraduate student or recent graduate

·          Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), GoogleDocs, Baidu Apps.

·          Exceptional eye for details, potential problems, and realistic solutions

·          Experience with Salesforce, social media (Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.) is ideal, but not necessary

·          Should enjoy and excel working in a fast-pace, startup company environment

·          Fluent in communicative English. Chinese a plus, but not necessary

·          The candidate must have awareness of PC & Mac operating systems

·          Must be comfortable using evolving shared-work platforms (Dropbox, GoogleDocs, iCloud, Asana, etc.)

·          Interns must provide their own computer and have stable access to the Internet.

 

Comments:

 

·          Schedule: Minimum of four days during a normal business week (M-F 10:00-18:00)
