Sanli Shang International (SSI) is an independent, co-educational, after-school learning center that provides private Chinese families with U.S. Common Core standards-based curriculum (USCCC), intensive test prep, and independent advisory throughout the child’s development. Test Prep Program Introduction

The Sanli Shang test prep program is borne out of the influence and reputation of the top SAT and ACT training school in China – Sanli Education Group. For the past 9 years, Sanli Education Group has served over 50,000 students from the greater China area and produced 24 perfect SAT scores in the old SAT, 1 perfect SAT score and hundreds of 1550+ in the Redesigned SAT. 

The Sanli Shang test prep program is an all English SAT/ACT/SSAT program that serves American boarding school students as well as American/International school students in Shanghai. We provide unparalleled and multifarious course offerings and services to its students. Instructors come from top ranked American universities and have garnered many years of education and test training experience. Our curriculum originates from every possible resource available in the best books and minds on the subject of American based standardized tests. We are constantly scouring everything that is available on all the most important tests to help students enter the top colleges and boarding schools abroad. The questions, methods and strategies come from many years of helping students achieve the best scores available.

What We’re Looking For

INDEPENDENT, CREATIVE, PATIENT & RESPONSIBLE INSTRUCTORS

Roles and Responsibilities
1. Fulfillment of teaching, training or tutoring duties in English related subjects in group or 1 on 1 class
2. Preparing student learning progress reports to students and/or parents
3. Reviewing and evaluating curricula for use in center and assisting in adaptation to local needs
4. Conducting or participating in workshops, committees, and conferences designed to promote intellectual, social and physical welfare of students
5. Studying and preparing recommendations on instructional materials, teaching aids, and related equipment
6. Conducting research into areas, such as teaching methods and techniques


Compensation Package

1. Starting net salary range of 16,000 – 22,000 RMB pending qualifications
2. Flexible full-time schedule
3. Paid National Holidays
4. 15 Paid Vacation Days per year
5. Health Insurance (Ping An Health Insurance Company of China, Mainland China Only)

7. Annual bonus based on performance and company profitability

Position Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree from a top American university.
2. Past SAT/ACT teaching preferred but not required
3. Excellent communication skills and able to work independently 
4. Ability to share success metrics and teach others best practices.
5. Self-motivated, energetic, dedicated and passionate about teaching. 
6. Desire to make a significant contribution to a rapidly growing organization 
7. Awareness of curriculum issues in individual classrooms and suggestions for improvement
