Job Description
Our company is a foreign owned, established leader in the Media industry; based in Beijing, Sanlitun. We are looking for a certified senior accountant to start immediately. Our finance department consists of 3 people. The lead accountant – the senior we are looking for – a very experienced assistant working for the company from the beginning and the CFO
Main responsibilities:
1. Daily voucher checking, record and approve in Database
2. Handling of bank transfers and other related bank transactions
3. Supervise the handling and issuance of Chinese VAT fapiaos
4. Handling of tax bureau reports, contract registrations and others
5. Actively manage accounts receivables & payables
6. Tax declaration (VAT, Income tax, IIT and VAT refund)
7. Preparation of financial reports in accordance with the company’s internal and the tax bureau’s request/standards
8. Close cooperation with external tax advisor
9. Initiate updates and develop new processes as it might be applicable in the field of accounting
come up with suggestions in improving existing project cost management
10. Directly report to CFO, providing advice and input
11. Perform other duties as assigned
Position Requirements Working experience:
1. At least 4 to 6 years’ experience as accountant, thereof at least 1 year as leading / senior accountant
2. Working experience with international background preferred
3. Strong technical and hands-on knowledge in Chinese GAAP
4. Understanding of Chinese accounting standards, tax laws ®ulations
5. Understanding of overseas accounting standards desirable
6. Knowledge of Finance and accounting software (i.e. “Kingdee”)
Languages:
1. Chinese native speaker
2. English proficiency
