interfaces to Linux, Mac OSX infrastructure and mobile ecosystems

Implementation of key technology components, including of high-performance graphics workstations, render
farms, high performance storage systems, and media networks

Support for research and evaluation of new and innovative approaches to establish core IT infrastructure

Management of servers and cross-platform network services of a modern and secure infrastructure (including
AD, LDAP, DNS, DHCP, RADIUS, NFS)

Performing monitoring and reporting activities of the IT infrastructure

Very good knowledge in implementation, operation and maintenance of Windows and Linux architectures as well as Mac OSX environment

Network infrastructure (e.g., Ethernet, VLAN, switching, routing, TCP/IP, iptables, RADIUS)
Powerful storage platforms including high-performance playback and mass data backup system.

Virtualization (e.g., VMware, KVM, OpenVZ)

Automation framework (e.g., Puppet, Chef) and scripting (e.g., shell scripting, Python)

Relevant software products and plugins (including manufacturers such as Autodesk, The Foundry, Adobe,
PipelineFX, …)

Position Requirements

Several years of professional experience as a Systems Engineer in highly complex and heterogeneous IT infrastructures

Practical experience in CGI/VFX area (in (post) film production pipeline)

Communication and organizational skills

Hands-on mentality

Fun in innovative advanced technologies

Strong focus on solutions

Very good English, spoken and written
