Job Description

As we continue to expand, we wish to bring in a bilingual Solar Engineer to work with our commercial solar team. The position is based out of our Beijing headquarters, the successful candidate will be expected to: 

 

●     Prepare pre-feasibility studies and preliminary solar PV system design

●     Independently complete solar PV system design, electrical drawings and construction schematics

●     Prepare technical documents for the tender bidding process

●     Support the sales team in responding to customer inquiries throughout the project development process

 

In order to fulfill these important tasks, we seek ambitious individuals who have:

 

●     Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or power systems applications

●     Fluent in English and Mandarin, strong understanding of both US and Chinese professional cultures highly preferred

●     Proficient with AUTOCAD and MS Office software

●     Able to draw photovoltaic system drawings and construction documents

●     Practical work experience in photovoltaic systems engineering

●     Familiar with solar system components – panels, inverters, racking, batteries, etc.

●     Willingness to travel, primarily within China

●     Driven, ambitious and willing to take initiative

●     Suited to thrive in a fast-growing, fast-paced work environment
