Job Description 
PRIMARY FUNCTION: 

Provide comprehensive cash management, foreign currency exposure management, project management and reporting within Asia Pacific in support of operational and corporate objectives 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 

A Provide a cost-efficient in-house service for in-country operations in cash management, foreign exchange, import/export finance activities, foreign currency exposure, intercompany financing/liquidity and risk management. 

B. Conduct hedge/derivatives transactions and provide advice to all divisions in the AP region following Corporate guidance and controls. 


C Provide sound advice to operations in the AP region in banking, cash investments, foreign exchange management, other matters. 

D. Provide the day-to-day supervision of Treasury Asia’s electronic banking services (pooling, zero balancing, cash concentration, balance reporting and transaction execution) to operations to ensure its continuous availability to AP operations. 

E. Oversee preparation of Treasury’s financial forecasts for Eaton’s operations in the region; act on data as appropriate. 

F. Assist in the treasury activities related to integration of acquisition and segregation of divestitures for the AP region. 

G. Ensure that all AP region units are in compliance with the requirements of Eaton’s global control policies, mainly F-2 policy and corporative governance issues. 

H. Closely communicate & work with Asia Pacific Shared Service Center both at Pune and Suzhou to maximize the Treasury function and contribution. 

I. Manage the intercompany loan portfolio and related hedging transaction 

J. Negotiate and manage the money market deposit portfolio and related administration for excess cash in Asia Pacific operations.

Basic Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements) 
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE: 

– Corporate FX management experience in a sizable organization 
– Excellent computer skills, strong in Word, Excel, 
– Must to have top skill in PPT preparation and effective presentation 
– Project management skill and experience is a major plus. 
– Excellent communicate skills and outgoing personality. 
– Operational/corporate accounting experience would be a plus 
– Must be fluent both in written and oral English. 
– Attention to detail 
– University degree in accounting, or finance major.

JOB CHALLENGES 
Be able to effective communicate with various operation entities in the region. Working with WHQ, operation to identify FX exposure/risk at various countries, provide timely insightful analysis to the senior manager to formulate timely action to minimize the FX exposure. The candidate should also provide value added suggestion or recommendation to further improve the current treasury process and procedures.
