We have immediate opportunities for Import Project Manager to join our East Coast Region team in Philadelphia PA. The ideal candidates will have a strong record of import project management and product sourcing, especially with China. We offer fixed salary plus bonus and competitive benefit package.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Communicate with local sales team to understand customer import requirements, including project lead time, product quality, cost expectation, compliance and etc.
· Take ownership of project lifecycle, before and after PO is received, from product sourcing, to project planning, vendor negotiation, lead-time management, quality management, and logistic coordination.
· Coordinate with in-house and external logistic team, finance team, compliance team, QC team to secure on-time, high-quality, and low-cost product delivery.
· Organize and keep track of project paper work, including but not limited to vendor quote documents, vendor PO, compliance documents, test reports, logistic and payment paperwork.
· Responsible for project delivery result by working closely and directly with vendor overseas.
· Identify project delivery risks and implement risk mitigation actions.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelors Degree in a related field required.
· 3+ years experience as an import project manager.
· Proven successful project management experience.
· Proficient in English and Mandarin.
· Flexible to work late hours to communicate with vendors oversea.
· Enjoy working with clients and vendors; excellent team member.
· Excellent negotiating, problem solving and project management skills.
· Results focused, optimistic and motivated to succeed.
· Excellent Excel, Word, Outlook, and Powerpoint skills
