Happy Year of the Snake from Team Pengyou!

Dear Pengyous,

We hope you had an enjoyable Chinese New Year. Team Pengyou started the year off with gusto and traveled to Washington, D.C. in January to support the launch of the 100,000 Strong Foundation.

We are super excited to announce that this month we were awarded a three-year grant from the Ford Foundation to enable us to mobilize grassroots networks in support of the 100,000 Strong Initiative. Totaling half of a million dollars, this grant will fund bottom-up engagement programs and complement the efforts of the new foundation and our online platform.
It has been an amazing journey to gain support from the highest levels of government, and even celebrities like will.i.am. However, we are most inspired by people like you, as we truly believe that the future of the US-China relationship depends on what happens between individuals on the ground.

Thank you for your continued support, and don’t forget to check out more goodies below!
