SideChef- Editorial Coordinator for award-winning Food App

The Editorial Coordinator Role

We are looking for a new Editorial Coordinator to join our high-performing content team. They’ll be ‘really good with people’ and love working with a team. They’ll love talking to people, and be interested in managing people. They’ll love everything about food, following the latest trends and blogs, websites, apps, and food magazines. With a knack for social media, they’ll stay up to date on trends in tech, food, and innovation. Ideally they’ll have a year of experience in food-related media/editorial. We are looking for a talented individual looking to learn and be inspired by a high-energy entrepreneurial environment bent on changing the world, one plate at a time. Responsibilities

*Strategizing and managing the SideChef Editorial Calendar

*Ownership of the daily app homepage to highlight season recipes & articles

*Hiring, inspiring, and managing interns

*Coordinate with executive team on company objectives and content strategy

*Social Media Strategy and execution

*Attending events around SH

*Working with our data analytics to track and improve content performance

*Support for marketing activities

Requirements

*Native English speaker

*Great energy, love working with other people, and self-motivated

*Demonstrated leadership potential

*Excellent writing and organizational skills

*Able to thrive in a fluid startup environment, with dynamic challenges day to day

*1-2 years in food-related media (magazine, blog, etc) a plus!

*Social Media Experience

*Proficiency in Photoshop for photo/video editing a plus

*Conversation Mandarin a plus, not required

*LOVES FOOD
