Job Description

 

Responsibilities: Conduct English interviews with high school, university, or graduate 
applicants 
Salary: RMB 1,200 / full day 
Location: Shanghai, Shenzhen, Guangzhou 

About Vericant:

For the past four years, we’ve persuaded North American institutions to reconsider the way they evaluate applicants and now we are the most widely required video interview in North America. The Vericant Behavioral Interview provides applicants a platform to shine and gives a fast, effective way for admission officers to evaluate their applicants. We’re welcoming a ton of new universities this year, and we need the best interviewers to ensure continued quality of our service. 

Responsibilities: 
• Interview students according to Vericant’s Behavioral Interview guidelines 
• Adhere to Vericant’s Interview Day Process and Vericant client-facing communications policy 
• Maintain professionalism throughout interviews 
• Work a minimum of 4 weekend days or a minimum of 6 week days a month from September to March 
• Develop and maintain a keen understanding of Vericant’s mission, vision, and the China admissions scene 

Essential Qualifications: 
• Native English Speaker from North America 
• Impeccable verbal communication skills 
• Exceptional interpersonal skills – warm and friendly 
• Able to commit a minimum of 4 weekend days a month 
• Gets things done. Period. 
• Ability to take initiative and work independently 
• Demonstrate professionalism with our clients and amongst Vericant peers 

Desired Qualifications: 
• Experience working in mainland China 
• Excellent time-management and organization skills 
• Flexibility to work some weekdays in lieu or in addition to weekends 
• Conversational Mandarin a huge plus 
• Excited by working in a fast-growth, start-up environment
