Philanthropy in Motion (PIM) provides young people with the funds, training, and networks to become intelligent givers. It is founded by a team of graduates from Yale, Harvard, Cornell, and Peking University. PIM’s signature program, Model Foundation, is an international summer program on venture philanthropy and social innovation, with an emphasis on combining practice with theory.
This program includes a grant-making conference at Yale Center Beijing as well as due diligence of China-based nonprofits and social enterprises. Through the program, participants not only gain unique insights into China’s social innovation space, but also have hands-on experience practicing philanthropy, guided by prominent social sector leaders and philanthropists.
