• Ability to manage multiple events within a given day or week
• Understanding of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel

 

Job Details:
Programs and Events Coordinator
Job purpose: Programs and Events Coordinator supports AmCham China’s working groups and general events. 

Working location and time: Beijing, 9:00-17:30, Monday- Friday

Duties and responsibilities
• Support between 4-5 industry and sector specific working groups 
• Support the chamber’s general events and Member 2 Member event series
• Engage with a variety of small, medium and large enterprises to drive informational and networking events
• Identify venues for chamber events and regularly engage with hotels on event logistics
• Track event RSVPs, registration and payment
• Prepare receipts before events and issue fapiao upon request after event
• Follow-up with those non-members attending events to recruit to join AmCham as members
• Support onsite registration at many of the chamber’s events
• Compile a monthly report on the chamber’s event attendance 
• Develop events of interest to the American business community
