Job Description
We want a resourceful individual who can help manage and improve our operations in Shanghai. If you excel at working independently, enjoy a flexible and fast-paced environment, want experience building and optimizing systems, and want to gain management experience, then come join us and learn how a successful international startup is run.
Location: Shanghai
Pay: 6000 – 8000 RMB/month (depending on how much time you would like to commit)
Time commitment: 3-4 days/week
Responsibilities
- Staff management
- Manage part-time staff in Shanghai region communicating in-person, via WeChat, and via email
- Hire and train new interviewers
- Provide feedback on staff performance
- Keep Beijing colleagues updated on Shanghai operations, commit to a one hour call-in meeting once per week with a manager in Beijing
- Interviewing and Preparation
- Conduct six interview days/month (negotiable based on your available time); may include travel to Nanjing or Hangzhou interview locations
- Prepare interview materials for interview days
Essential Skills
- Native English speaker, comfortable Mandarin speaker (at the level of HSK 5 or more)
- Top-notch organization and communication skills
- Comfortable managing your own time and working independently
- Comfortable using Windows computers and Google services such as Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets
Desired Skills

- Experience managing/hiring/training part-time staff
